I swear, Nolan does not have red hair. I guess it just looks that way in certain lights in the photos I take. Sorry to disappoint but he will just have plain old brown hair and I’m sure it will darken as he grows older–will end up lookin’ just like daddy does today.
Nolan did two of the cutest things today! First time he’s ever cried when I left home without him. He stood at the top of the stairs clinging onto the baby gate crying for me to come get him. I would have totally taken him if the courthouse would allow me to bring my son to jury service. I’m sure he would have fallen asleep just like what I wanted to do. It was soooo boring! I had the hardest time staying awake listening to the testimonies. The other cute thing he did was feed me! I opened my mouth when he was holding a puff snack in his hand and he automatically knew to put it in my mouth instead of his own. It wasn’t just an anomaly because he did it another 5 times. Kiddo was getting a kick out of feeding mommy.
As for pumping, I have almost completely stopped. I’ve gone as long as 3 days without pumping and not quite sure when I should just go cold turkey and stop altogether. Definitely will not be missing that pump.
For the heck of it Nolan and I started taking morning selfies a couple weeks ago. Not sure why I’ve never thought of doing this before. He enjoys the front facing camera so he can see us both on the screen. He’ll just stare and we’ll try to do similar facial expressions. Here are a few of us looking confused, being cute, puckering up and smiling happily.
Here’s a funny video we’d like to share to show why Nolan cannot be trusted to bottle feed himself.
My boys planking it. ‘Nuff said.
